About Heaven's Echoes

Picture
Heaven's Echoes began singing as a gospel group in 1983 but their roots run deeper than that.  This Southern gospel quartert consist of famliy members who were raised up in small country churches by God fearing, Bible believing parents who believed that there is an almighty God who loves each of his creations and set forth a plan of salvation for all who would call upon is name.  We thank God that  He allowed us to be born into such families where the word of God was not only taught, but practiced.

Making up Heaven's Echoes are 3 cousins, Debbie Ward, Judy Biggers, and Mike Davidson along with their spouses Dwayne Ward, Gus Biggers, and Mikes wife, Thresa Davidson.  Debbie, Judy, and Mike's Dad's are brothers, in fact there was a total of 5 brothers and 2 sisters which made up the Davidson Family that we are so blessed to be a part of.  Even today, the entire Davidson Family still gathers at Christmas time at the old homeplace to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.  Throughout the years we spent many days around the old piano singing hymns and Sundays in church were special as the congregation would lift their voices praising the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Lord works in mysterious ways and as we felt the Lord leading us to start singing together as a Southern Gospel Quartet we never dreamed what God had instore for Heaven's Echoes.  Early on this group primarily sang specials in their home churches, but soon God began to open doors and has allowed Heaven's Echoes to travel to numerous states and to various venues.  But no matter where we go, no matter what the venue, it is our prayer that the message of salvation is presented and that souls are saved and lives are changed through the message in song and testimony.

Dwayne Ward sings the lead part for Heaven's Echoes.  Dwayne is married to Debbie Ward who does an outstanding job singing the alto part.  They both live in Jacksonville, AR where Dwayne is a letter carrier for the postal service, (yes he is the one who brings you all that junk mail), and  Debbie is a house keeper.  Dwayne grew up in the Morrilton/Oppello AR area.  Being the son of a Baptist Deacon Dwayne was taught early in life about the love of God.  He will gladly share how he gave his life to Christ on January 1, 1979, and his testimony of how God has brought Dwayne through a battle with colon cancer will inspire you as you go through the battles of life.

Gus and Judy Biggers live in Springfield, AR where Gus was raised as a child, again by God fearing, bible believing parents.  Gus is an Electrical Contractor and Judy spends most of her time taking care of her two grandchildren, Will and Karly Jo.  Gus takes care of the sound system duties for Heaven's Echoes and occasionally joins the group on stage with songs that will certainly touch you heart.  Judy sings tenor and plays keyboard. Gus and Judy have 3 lovely daughters, two here on earth and one who is in the arms of God.  Judy's testimony of  how their middle daughter Kayla Jo went on to be with the Lord due to an automobile accident will certainly encourage anyone who has gone through a similar experience.

Singing the bass part for Heaven's Echoes is Mike Davidson.  Mike recently retired from the Little Rock Fire Department at the rank of Captain after 27 years of service.  He currently owns and operates a Fire Apparatus Testing Company and raises beef cattle on the family farm. He and his wife Thresa live near Plumerville, AR in the small community of Hill Creek where he grew up along with Debbie and Judy.  Mike's wife Thresa is a breast cancer survivor and her trust in the Lord throughout this sickness has been an inspiration to many women who have gone through the same experience.  Thresa does not sing with Heaven's Echoes but she surely has the hardest job of all.  Taking care of Mike!!!!

So now you have met Heaven's Echoes.  We're just ordinarly people who God has called to do part of his work here on earth.  We have sickness, disease, and death of loved ones just like each of you.  We pray that God will take this ministry He has allowed us to be apart of and in someway through His power and glory touch lives so that souls may be saves and lives changed.

Please pray for Heaven's Echoes whenever we cross your mind that God will continue to bless His ministry that He has allow us to be a part of.

Heaven's Echoes.
